Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is planning a bid for Borussia Dortmund pair Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze. The Sunday Mirror says Lewandowski - valued at £25m - is also wanted by Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, but Gunners manager Wenger is keen to land the 24-year-old Poland international.
His team-mate Gotze is rated as one of the most talented young players in Germany. The 20-year-old is already a member of the senior international squad.
Chief scout Steve Rowley and his team have been scouring the German league in recent months.
