Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy could face more frustration over his bid to get a move away this month.

Debuchy felt let down by Olympique Marseille after a move collapsed over the summer.

And it's now emerging that St Etienne could blank the fullback and choose Neven Subotic as their prime defensive signing this month.

Yahoo Sport reporter Manu Lonjon posted to social media: "Important thing: it would be Subotic OR Debuchy! Sainté should not do both! The priority would remain Neven Subotic.

"From his answer would depend the Debuchy option. Sainté would like to do both but financially impossible."
