Arsenal fullback Carl Jenkinson is ready to sign permanently with West Ham United.

The Daily Star Sunday says Arsene Wenger will tell right-back Jenkinson, 23 he is free to join the Hammers after a successful stint at Upton Park.

Lifelong Gunners fan Jenkinson realises he won't be able to break into the Arsenal first team on a regular enough basis and has enjoyed his spell under Sam Allardyce.

He has become a fans' favourite after being rock solid all season, in which he has made 24 Premier League appearances.
