Arsenal fullback Kieran Gibbs has handed manager Arsene Wenger another FA Cup final injury headache.

The England left-back, 27, is suffering from a thigh injury and joins an ever-growing list of defenders to sit on the sidelines at the Emirates, says The Sun.

Arsene Wenger will already be without Gabriel and Laurent Koscielny – who was given a three-match ban after being sent off against Everton on Sunday.

On top of that Shkodran Mustafi is still yet to return to training following his suspected concussion after suffering dizziness on an attempted return at the weekend.

That means club captain Per Mertesacker could be in line for his first start in over a year following knee surgery – after being forced into playing half an hour on Sunday.
