Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy admits there was interest from PSG when he was with Newcastle United.

Debuchy left Newcastle for the Gunners last summer.

"Yes, there has been more or less founded rumors," he told La Voix du Nord.

"There was noise, but it never went away.

"PSG talked to my agents, but I would not say that I was their priority. It did not go further."
