Hector Bellerin could remain in Spain's squad for Euro2016, according to manager Vicente del Bosque.
The Arsenal right-back made his international debut by playing a full 90 minutes as La Roja defeated Bosnia 3-1 in a friendly in Switzerland on Sunday and will be kept around the squad as team doctors wait to find out more on injured Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal.
Del Bosque said: "We are waiting for the outcome of several assessments on our injured players. We can only hope the results are good.
"We have two days until I name my list of 23 players. While we are waiting to hear from the medics [about Carvajal], Bellerin stays with us."
Selection in the final 23 would cap a fantastic season for 21-year-old Bellerin who broke into Arsenal's first team before making the Premier League Team of the Year.
