Arsenal hope to close a deal for Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer in days.
The Gunners have been successful with a second offer for the Australia international, who is now free to discuss personal terms with Australia's World Cup campaign over.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal will sign Schwarzer from Fulham next week for £3.5 million.
