Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas is struggling to make their Champions League clash with Barcelona.

The London Evening Standard says Cesc is believed to be losing his fitness battle to start Arsenal's Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona on Wednesday as he struggles to overcome a knee problem.

The Spaniard was injured after a strong tackle by Craig Gardner midway through Saturday's 1-1 draw at Birmingham and despite playing out the match, he was seen limping away from St Andrew's.
