Arsenal face stiff Italian competition for Valencia star Juan Mata.
Mata has a buy-out clause of 40m, but reported financial problems at the club mean he would be available for a lot less. Sport says Inter Milan have joined the race for Mata with an offer of 15m.
The Nerazzurri face tough competition from Juventus and Arsenal, especially as the Gunners are thought to be building a proposal worth 20m.
Mata was in the Spain squad that recently won the Under-21 European Championship.
