Arsenal are battling Newcastle United for Paraguay midfielder Miguel Almiron.

Almiron has been linked with Arsenal after impressing for MLS side Atlanta United, scoring nine times in 30 games.

Calciomercato.com says Arsenal and Newcastle, plus Inter Milan are all after the 23-year-old.

Almiron could be available for £15million.

The free scoring midfielder made his full international debut for Paraguay in 2015 after an impressive showing in the 2013 Under-23 World Cup.
