Barcelona striker David Villa won't push for a move to Arsenal this month with a new baby on the way.
The Daily Star Sunday says Barca ace Villa, 31 wants to quit the Nou Camp and fancies a switch to the Gunners but will remain in Spain for the birth of the tot, due next month.
However, Villa IS keen on a move to north London in the summer after a miserable spell on the sidelines at the Catalan giants.
"His wife is said to be expecting a boy in February, their third child. David doesn't want to be away during that time so a move now looks very unlikely," said a source.
"But David does want to leave - he is frustrated and a little sad, too. His time here hasn't been the best."
Barca have told Arsenal only a £16million offer will be enough to land a player they paid Valencia £35m for in 2010.
But Arsene Wenger knows he can snatch a Spanish goal-scoring legend for a fraction of that cost if he stays patient.
