The race for FC Basel defender Fabian Schar is set to catch fire.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been credited with interest in the young Swiss, who is also being linked with Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc remarked: "The speculation about Fabian Schar being on his way to our club is one of many transfer rumours doing the rounds."
