Arsenal face being crowded out in battle for Lille star Hazard

Arsenal are battling to stay in the running for Lille star Eden Hazard.

The Daily Star Sunday says Arsene Wenger has made Lille's Hazard one of his top transfer targets - but the Belgian winger has indicated he's off to Spain in the summer and will join either Barca or Real Madrid.

Hazard, 20, is rated at around £20million - and is one of the most exciting young prospects in Europe.

He recently said he would leave his current club at the end of this season.

The player, who mainly operates on the left flank, has already attracted lots of interest in the Premier League.

While Arsenal have led the chase, Hazard has also been a target for Liverpool and Tottenham.

And he has been assessed by scouts from Chelsea and Manchester City and Manchester United.

But Hazard looks to be most interested by the potential moves to one of Spain's big two - European champions Barca and Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid. It's believed that Barcelona chief Pep Guardiola is in prime position to land the international star.
