West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is confident keeping hold of 16-year-old Isaiah Brown.

Arsenal have been monitoring him at youth levels.

Ahead of the trip to Chelsea, Clarke said: "We are taking Izzy down, we have a few injury problems and he's done well with the Under 16s and the Under 21s.

"He's still at school. We have secured his release from his GCSEs!

"He's a good athlete and has done very well for England Under 17s. He joined in with us this morning and he was excellent.

"It's a good opportunity for him. Not that he knows it yet. I haven't told him - he'll find out soon enough, probably from reading the newspapers.'"
