The North London club are determined to find cover for injured pair Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista and are being linked with a number of names including Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi, Hoffenheim's Fabian Schar and West Bromwich Albion's Jonny Evans.
Now the name of Tisserand has emerged on Arsenal's radar with the report indicating his versatility at being able to operate at right-bak attracting Wenger.
French-born DR Congo international Tisserand, 23, is under contract with Monaco until 2019.
