​Arsenal, Everton lead chase for BVB playmaker Gotze

Arsenal are among host of clubs interested in Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze.

The scorer of Germany's winning goal in 2014 World Cup final had a poor season at Signal Iduna Park, claiming just two goals and four assists in 23 appearances.

Borussia want £22m for the player who has two years left on his contract and has attracted interest from Everton, West Ham, Marseille and Valencia as well, Sky Sports understand.

In 2017, Gotze opted to return to BVB from Bayern Munich, although his former coach Jurgen Klopp wanted him at Liverpool.
