Arsenal to enter Lorient youth deal as part of Koscielny agreement

Arsenal will enter a youth development deal with Lorient as part of their agreement for defender Laurent Koscielny.

Gunners youngster Francis Coquelin has already joined Lorient on a season-long loan and more of his young teammates will follow.

Koscielny is expected to move to Arsenal for £8.5 million plus around £1.5 million based on appearances and success.

The deal will also see the two clubs exchange young players in the future.

Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis is now finalising terms with Lorient over Koscielny's transfer.
