Arsenal are making a late transfer window swoop for PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
The Daily Star Sunday says Gunners chief Arsene Wenger is understood to be scouring the market for a world-class centre-forward following his failure to land Real Madrid hitman Karim Benzema.
Recently, it has been suggested the Frenchman has turned his attentions to signing Cavani - who's future at the Parc des Princes is currently up in the air.
And according to sources in Spain, the Professor will make a late move for the 28-year-old.
With the transfer window closing shortly, Wenger could face a difficult task to wrap a deal before Tuesday's 6pm deadline.
