Arsenal draw a fair result says Everton's Jagielka

Everton captain Phil Jagielka felt his side deserved their 1-1 draw with league leaders Arsenal on Sunday.

The Gunners had a number of key chances which were all kept out by Tim Howard before Mesut Ozil put them in front in the 80th minute from close range.

Barcelona loanee Gerard Deulofeu responded for the visitors less than five minutes later before Olivier Giroud's injury-time effort thundered into the corner of the crossbar and upright.

Jagielka admits he was a bit worried when the Frenchman let fly but felt the result was right in the end.

"Yeah, massively," he told Sky Sports. "But I think we were good value for the draw.

"They had some fantastic play on the counter-attack. It was two good footballing teams and hard to get the ball back from each other."
