Arsenal are this week in talks with Parma for striker Ishak Belfodil.

The Algerian, 20, is the subject of a serious enquiry from Arsenal, which are now discussing the prospect of signing him immediately or waiting until June.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger knows Belfodil from his time in France, where he spent time at PSG and Lyon as a junior.

A move to London in January cannot be ruled out, though Parma would prefer to wait until the summer with Belfodil now a first-choice.
