Arsenal directors dismiss talk of Wenger joining board

Arsenal directors insist Arsene Wenger's future is as manager.

The Telegraph says club sources have privately dismissed ­suggestions that there are plans to invite the Frenchman into a boardroom position at the Emirates in the close season.

It was claimed Wenger would be booted upstairs and replaced by Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
