Arsenal defender Sebastien Squillaci admits today's FA Cup clash with Manchester United could decide their trophy chances this season.
The France international defender, who signed from Sevilla in the summer, admits the game has taken on more significance after Arsenal's midweek defeat against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
"This game will be very important, and season-defining, after the week we've had," Squillaci told Arsenal TV Online.
"The league is now extra important and it would be good to go through to the Cup semi-final on Saturday too.
"When you play against a team who is around you in the Premier League it's good to impose yourself on them, whatever the competition.
"I think a win on Saturday will give us a psychological boost. The Premier League and FA Cup are different competitions but it goes without saying that a win is a win."
