Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is eager to make a move to Atletico Madrid.

The Swiss defender, 24, is a target for Atletico coach Quique Sanchez Flores, who has admitted he needs somebody to solve his defensive problems.

"At the moment I have few chances to play and, if I get the chance, then I want to move," said Senderos. "I want to play games before the World Cup.

"Atletico are a big club in Spain and Europe. I am not closing any doors."
