Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny was delighted for Jack Wilshere after his goal in victory over Champions League opponents Montpellier.

It was Wilshere's first goal in 725 days, and Koscielny admitted he was delighted for the midfielder.

"I'm very happy because Jack lost more than a year with injury," Koscielny told arsenal.com. "He's a very good player. He's young and has a long career in front of him. He played well for the team and it's good he scored.

"It is very important for a Club like Arsenal to qualify [for the knockout stages]."
