Arsenal defender Holding delighted with clean sheet

Arsenal defender Rob Holding is delighted the team was able to get its first clean sheet of the season.

While the Gunners have been working on their defensive organisation since new manager Unai Emery's appointment, it marks the first time they have shut out the opposition in the league.

Arsenal are now in 6th position in the table, level on points with Tottenham, and only a single point off the top four.

And Holding acknowledged it was hard work getting the three points against Everton.

"We knew it would be [hard]. Everton have had a good start to the season and they've got pace on the counter-attack and strength, so we had to be careful when we're attacking because they are a threat," he said to the Arsenal official website.

"But we managed to deal with it and got our first clean sheet of the season which is big."
