Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has been ruled out for the season.

Gibbs suffered a depressed open fracture to his first metatarsal on his left foot, after a tackle with Eliaquim Manga during their Champions League match against Standard Liege in November.

The fracture failed to heal satisfactorily and Gibbs will now have a bone graft to help ensure a full recovery.
