Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Paulista aims to emulate PSG star Thiago Silva.
The 25-year-old Brazilian had been sidelined with an ankle injury since the pre-season but last week he re-joined first-team training with the Gunners.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday night's 1-1 Champions League draw with PSG, Gabriel told Arsenal Player that he plans to follow in the footsteps of the captain of the French giants who doubles as a key player for Brazil.
"[Silva] inspires me a lot, as he is a leader, and he has shown his leadership qualities on the pitch for all the clubs he's played for," he said.
"I look for inspiration in players like him, who for me is one of the best players and one of the best defenders in the world.
"Who knows, one day I might reach his level, and also be one of the best defenders in the world. This is my aim."
