Arsenal's appeal for Gabriel Paulista's three-match suspension has been upheld.
The Brazilian defender was sent off just before half-time of his side's 2-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday after a tussle with Diego Costa.
Gabriel was dismissed for violent conduct, which the Gunners appealed, and an Independent Regulatory Commission has chosen to rescind the red card and strike the ban from the player's record.
However, Gabriel is still the subject of a separate improper conduct charge from the FA for his reaction after being shown the red card by referee Mike Dean.
A statement on Arsenal's official website read: "Arsenal's claim of wrongful dismissal in relation to Gabriel has been upheld following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.
"The player's three-match suspension has, therefore, been withdrawn with immediate effect."
