Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi was thrilled to score against hometown club Nagoya Grampus Eight on the weekend.
The stands were teeming with Arsenal fans with 'Ryo' on the backs of their shirts and he capped off a promising display by converting a first-half penalty.
"This is my city - a lot of fans came here so it was very exciting," he told Arsenal Player.
"It makes me feel very good [to see Ryo shirts on the fans]. It's great for me as a football player.
"It's an unbelievable feeling to score. Everyone gave me a great chance to score so it was very good. It was a hard game but I need to get fit before the season starts so it's good for me."
