Fabianski may need surgery on a shoulder injury that has kept him out since the start of the month.
The Pole has been a steady pair of hands for the Gunners this term, putting behind him a series of embarrassing howlers in the previous campaign.
Reports in Polish newspaper Sport suggest that a decision will be taken on Wednesday as to whether or not Fabianski will require surgery on the problem. If so, it could sideline him until the end of season.
