Arsenal are confident of keeping Samir Nasri away from Manchester United.
The Telegraph says Arsenal maintain that Nasri is still in discussions over extending his deal and there is a sense that he may be using United's interest as a bargaining tool to substantially increase his wages, which are currently about £55,000 a week.
Arsenal believe relations with the player and his representatives are good.
However, sources have indicated that Nasri, who joined Arsenal in 2008 from Marseilles, has become disillusioned at the club's lack of success.
