Arsenal are maintaining interest in former Gunners youngster Oguzhan Ozyakup.

According to Turkish publication AMK, Arsene Wenger is pondering the possibility of offering the 23-year-old midfielder a pathway back to the Emirates Stadium.

Ozyakup was offloaded by the North Londoners back in 2012 and has since gone on to be an integral member at Besiktas while forcing his way into the Turkey national team.

Wenger has sent scouts to watch Ozyakup this season as he looks to bolster his central midfield options as Mathieu Flamini prepares to leave in the summer while question marks remain over captain Mikel Arteta and the often-injured Jack Wilshere.
