Racing Club midfielder Claudio Yacob is wanted by Arsenal.

Arsenal are in contact with Yacob's camp as the midfielder comes off contract in June.

Racing are willing to offload their high-earning captain in an attempt to trim down the wage bill as they look to cut costs.

Yacob has been likened to Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano.
