Sacked Blackburn Rovers captain Christopher Samba is being linked with Arsenal.

Samba was stripped of the Rovers captaincy by caretaker boss Steve Kean after insisting he wants to leave Ewood Park.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp yesterday denied he was interested in signing the centre-half.

But the Daily Star says Arsenal want Blackburn rebel Samba to beef up their back four.
