Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is confident of closing a deal for released Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole.
The Mail on Sunday says Arsenal are confident of signing Cole after the World Cup, even though negotiations with Cole's representatives have yet to reach a conclusion.
Manchester United and Tottenham are also interested in the Bosman prospect, though Arsenal are regarded as favourites.
