Arsenal are set to land Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh. The Mail on Sunday says Arsenal can expect to sign Bordeaux striker Chamakh, even if the deal runs right to transfer deadline day, as with Andrey Arshavin.

Arsenal have bid £8million and, while Bordeaux want £15m, they know that, with just one year left on Chamakh's contract and the striker determined to move to Arsenal, the price is falling.
