Arsenal coach Steve Bould has paid tribute to Dennis Bergkamp as 20 years ago this week he signed for the club.

Bergkamp played a vital role in helping us secure four FA Cups, three Premier League titles and an unforgettable unbeaten season, all while achieving a wealth of individual honours.

“For me I think he changed the face of the football club," Bould told Arsenal Player.

“The day he signed we all went, 'What, Dennis Bergkamp's going to Arsenal?' and then all of a sudden we weren't at this level of play anymore, we were up with the best.

“I think Wrighty turned up to watch him sign and the whole place was on fire because he was a great player. It took him a while, but he was brilliant."
