Arsenal coach Neil Banfield wants the Premier League's reserves competition to be restructured.
He told arsenal.com: "Personally I would like to play the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton. I think the Premier League is big enough to be playing these games perhaps once a year. We never really get up north to play them and the lads would like to do that.
"If some people get their heads together then surely it can be feasible. I don't see why not. I'm sure those fixtures are attractive and it would be a good test for young players."
