Arsenal reserves boss Neil Banfield was pleased with the showing of Jack Wilshire and Eduardo da Silva in last week's 2-2 draw with Stoke City.
He told arsenal.com: "Jack needed a game after being involved with the first team. I think he has really found the game useful for him tonight. It was also good for Eduardo to get through 90 minutes unscathed and maybe could have nicked a goal at the end but his contribution is first class for us.
"Eduardo is disappointed we haven't won. He is a top pro and has been outstanding in the work that he has done. He is really disappointed that he didn't manage to score and win us the game."
