Arsenal are being strongly linked with signing France Under 21 international Yoan Gouffran.

The Caen striker will reportedly join The Gunners on a four-year deal but return to the French club on loan for the coming season.

The 21 year old was the Ligue 2 Player of the Year last term as his 15 goals helped fire Caen back into France's top-flight.

Gouffran is believed to be costing Arsenal in the region of £2million.
