Samir Nasri is on the verge of extending his contract with Arsenal according to reports.
The 23-year old Frenchman has been the Gunners' best player so far this season and is keen to sign a long-term deal to remain at the Emirates.
It is believed that Arsene Wenger has offered Nasri a five-year deal and a pay rise which will net him £80,000 a week and apparently the deal just needs to be signed off to be completed.
Nasri is currently nursing a hamstring strain which is likely to keep him out of Arsenal's Champions League Round of 16 opener with Barcelona.
