Arsenal chiefs unsure if Jack Wilshere will pen new deal

Arsenal chiefs are unsure if Jack Wilshere will commit to a new deal.

The Daily Mail says Wilshere is a key part of the current contractual renewal drive, with the club eager to extend his existing deal, which expires in just over 12 month.

But there is feeling, however, that Wilshere will not feature prominently under manager Arsene Wenger next season, with the offer of a new deal merely a means to protect his value.

It remains to be seen whether Wilshere will sign an extension without assurances of regular football.

If no agreement is reached, the club will look to sell Wilshere to the highest bidder with West Ham, Bournemouth and Manchester City keeping tabs on the situation.
