Arsenal chiefs push Max Meyer to drop personal demands

Arsenal have told Max Meyer to drop his personal demands if he wants to move to London.

The Schalke midfielder comes off contract at midnight tonight.

BILD says Arsenal are among five clubs who have been offered the chance to sign Max Meyer this summer, reports Bild.

Meyer will officially become a free agent upon the expiry of his contract at Schalke on June 30.

Arsenal have been informed Meyer wants more than £4m-a-year in wages to commit to a new club, but the Gunners are unwilling to match those demands.
