Arsenal's new head of football Raul Sanllehi has revived talks with Boca Juniors winger Cristian Pavon.

Football.London claim the ex-Barcelona chief has been the one in contact with the South American club rather than head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.

Sanllehi only joined Arsenal in February after spending 16 years at the Nou Camp but has been promoted following Ivan Gazidis' departure to AC Milan.

Along with Vinai Venkatesham – who has become managing director – he will run things in North London.

And it appears the 22-year-old winger Pavon is his top target.
