Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis is in line for a massive pay-off should he be squeezed out due to any future takeover.
The Daily Mail says Gazidis is sitting comfortably in the Emirates Stadium with a guaranteed pay-off totalling over £5million if the unsettled club changes ownership.
A Middle East consortium is reported to be interested in buying Arsenal if absentee American owner Stan Kroenke wants to sell, with billionaire Russian shareholder Alisher Usmanov also in the wings.
Either way, Gazidis is cushioned by a contract agreement that was revealed in club documents relating to Kroenke's share offer in 2011.
