Former Arsenal chief David Dein says Arsene Wenger still has the "fire in his belly".

Dein brought Wenger to Arsenal 999 games ago.

"He's a football purist and this is his life. He's still got the fire in his belly. He is a workaholic. I can understand people being anxious about not winning trophies, but nobody more than Arsene himself."

And Wenger's legacy to Arsenal?

"It will be five-fold," says Dein to the Telegraph.

"Wonderful new training facilities. A new stadium. A new style of football. More money in the bank that at any time in the club's history. And recognition and respect for Arsenal that spans the entire globe. That's not a bad list for his CV."
