Arsenal chief Brady expects Wilshere to star for Bolton

Arsenal youth chief Liam Brady expects Jack Wilshere to make a big impact at Bolton Wanderers in the remaining weeks of the season.

Brady, who helped the 18-year-old come through the ranks of the Gunners Academy, believes the Stevenage-born youngster has got the mental strength to cope with life at the bottom end of the Premier League.

"Jack will do well if he gets the chances at Bolton," the Irishman told the Bolton News.

"He's already played against Manchester City and I think that he did very well.

"They're in a real dogfight at Bolton and it's difficult to throw kids into that situation, but Jack is a tough cookie.

"He's got a lot of character, and, obviously, a lot of ability.

"But he's tough as well and mentally strong. I don't think he'll let Bolton down if he was put into the mix in the final months of the season."
