Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is determined to test Southampton's resolve with a bid for Luke Shaw.
The Mirror says Wenger will also definitely bid for Southampton's whizkid Shaw in January, with Chelsea also interested in the 17-year-old.
Shaw is Southampton's latest emerging talent and the England Under-17s star is tipped to follow Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and become a full international.
