Arsenal chasing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Kramer

Arsenal are chasing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer.

The Daily Star says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a big admirer of the Leverkusen star, who is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Sources in Germany have implied that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal and Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers are both eager to snap up the combative midfielder, who has hinted he is open to a move away from Leverkusen.

Speaking in August, Kramer said: "In general, being involved in the football business is often like modern human trafficking.

"But for me, a contract can say whatever it wants. If I don't want to play somewhere next season, I won't play there. In the end, I will still decide where I play."
