Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood says they won't sell star man Robin van Persie on the cheap.
The Gunners remain stunned at Van Persie's desire to leave, with Manchester United and Manchester City among the clubs wanting to sign the Dutchman.
Arsenal value the player at £30m, but United are believed to have offered around half that amount.
"He is a world-class player and we don't want to give him away," said Hill-Wood in the Daily Star.
"If he is determined to leave that is up to him, but giving him away is not on our agenda."
